Art Reflection I chose my sign language hand because I think that it is one of the best of all of my work and also it was the first project of the year and I was very happy about it. This is special because it is special to me because it reminds me of the two of my direct family because it was a “W” in sign language, which means I have three fingers up. It’s my mom, my brother and me, it is perfect. I think this couldn’t be better if I tried! I have learned from making this piece that not everything is easy, this was my first piece and it was difficult. It also made me think outside the box to make the creases in my hands come to life and just make everything so real. It was difficult to only draw with one hand and copy with the other though; it was much harder than I initially thought. The thing I would change about the sign language hand would be that I would have more lines in my hands and to slightly show hits of my veins, since I can see them in real life. I would like to try to shade my hand in a little bit so it does look like the hand has some life to it. I also find that my hand was very stiff in the picture, I would like to have it a little more loose and alive. But I do think I did a good job in the end, just with a little tweaks it would be perfect! Go Home
